Post with 1 note
I moved to London three weeks ago. These three weeks have tried my patience in hundreds of ways. One of the most potent was the necessity of my moving to a studio flat in West London. My sullenness has known no bounds as of late and I feel myself slipping into that vast cavern known as depression.
Last weekend, I walked to Kensington High Street for a necessary Whole Foods run. I had not explored my neighbourhood much and marveled at the beauty, humour and oddities of the area. Then, I needed to pick up a special delivery envelope and found myself wandering to Chelsea, another magical area I hardly knew existed.
There’s still more for me to conquer: Notting Hill, Hammersmith, the list is endless (literally, have you seen how big London is?).
What I will do: each day between tomorrow and the end of my Masters degree (July 5 2010) I will take and post one photo of West London being West London, excepting of course the days I am not physically in London.
Nine months. One region of one city. One girl. One camera. Here goes nothing.
